I started Outbound Adventures because I got tired of two things:
LGBTQ+ trips that meant bottomless brunch and rainbow flags, but no real adventure.
Mainstream tours where you’re the only queer couple, constantly guessing if it’s safe to hold hands or be yourself.
For ten years, I travelled the world as a flight attendant (yes, that’s me messing about in the galley).
It wasn’t all glam, but it did give me a front-row seat to how we travel: the stress, the magic, the mess, and the moments you remember forever.
Later, I moved into digital project management, building systems, solving problems, and working out how to actually make things happen.
I build and share destination guides that mix cities with nearby nature escapes. Places you can hike, swim, or road-trip by day and still enjoy good food and queer culture by night.
Every spot is vetted, every stay is LGBTQ+-friendly, and the focus is always on flexibility, not fixed timetables.
